During 2008-2009 ACESS successfully conducted the 61st Annual Honors and Awards Banquet on November 6, 2008.
The Distinguished Award of Council was presented to Dr. Nick Triantafillopoulos, Director, Technology, OMNOVA Solutions Inc.
Mr. Eric "CyToG" Beavers was the speaker at the banquet.
The Board of Directors appointed an Excutive Director in October 2007 followed by the establishment of an office at 411 Wolf Ledges Parkway, Akron, Ohio, 44311. The office facilities were provided by courtesy of the University of Akron.
Solution Media, Inc. donated their Web design services and ACESS was able to set up a Web page (ACESSINC. ORG).
