AIA – Archaeology Lecture

October 6 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

The Akron-Kent AIA, fall archaeology talk will be by Prof. Nam Kim of the University of Wisconsin-Madison on “Plumbing the Depths: Exploring Violence and Warfare in Humanity’s Past.” A topic that unfortunately remains all too timely…..

The talk will take place on Oct. 6th in Leigh Hall 207 on the University of Akron campus for those who would like to attend in-person, as well as be live streamed for those who prefer to watch remotely over Zoom. If you’d like the Zoom link, please email me (edumser@uakron.edu); we have only 100 online seats available so reserve yours sooner rather than later!  The talk will begin at 7pm, preceded by an informal meet-and-greet starting at 6:30pm. Further details are available on the attached flyer; please feel free to share this with others interested in archaeology!
